Effective strategies recommended by subject experts to help Class 10th CBSE students perform their best in board exams.
Questions in CBSE Class 10 board examinations are taken entirely from NCERT books. Study each chapter thoroughly, comprehend all examples, and solve all exercise problems. Ignoring the NCERT book is the biggest mistake students make in preparing for their CBSE Class 10 examinations.
CBSE 10th maths requires you to practice every day. Try solving numeric questions on paper while following all the steps because CBSE allocates marks for each step correctly solved. Pay more attention to Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progression, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics since these topics hold great importance in board exams.
Science and Social Science require that you draw diagrams frequently. Questions from CBSE Class 10 exams will be based on diagrams; a correctly labelled diagram may earn you all marks, even if your answers are incomplete.
Regular studying daily will prove to be much more productive than just cramming everything on the eve of your Class 10 board examinations. Schedule specific time periods for each subject and dedicate one day to revisions.
Solving the past 10 years of CBSE Class 10 board papers can be counted among some of the best preparation techniques you could use. This will help you to understand the pattern of the questions asked in these exams and also their difficulty level.
Ensure that chapter-wise revision notes and formulas are always available to you. Good notes allow you to review an entire chapter of CBSE Class 10 in 15–20 minutes. It is essential to review your notes weekly, and not only during the last days before the boards.
